West Texas Food Bank is a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) hunger relief organization. The Food Bank serves as a clearinghouse that secures donations of surplus, but wholesome, food and grocery products for distribution through a network of approximately 180 charitable organizations. The service area covers more than 45,000 square miles in the 22 counties of far West Texas.
West Texas Food Bank is a member of America’s Second Harvest – The Nation’s Food Bank Network. Membership includes access to national food distribution programs, training, support, inspection and accountability for operations standards. We are also a member of the Texas Food Bank Network.
Administrative offices and the central receiving warehouse are based in Odessa. Additional warehouse operations are in El Paso and Alpine. The Food Bank currently has 25-30 employees and offers benefits including health insurance, paid vacation, and a voluntary retirement plan. CDL Driver - Odessa Branch
Driver Requirements: CDL, good driving record, 24 years of age (minimum), and general warehouse experience. Applicants can apply in person at 1008 E. 2nd street between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday.
Warehouse Product Processor - 2 positions available in Odessa
Position performs routine duties related to sorting and repacking bulk food and grocery product for distribution, and other warehouse duties as needed.
Warehouse Manager - Odessa, Texas
Need experienced warehouse manager to manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, distribution, inventory control, facility management, maintenance, sanitation, pest control, and enforcing West Texas Food Bank policies and procedures. Position includes active participation in both warehouse duties and computer entries.
